Whether through a dance that blends different cultural traditions, a montage of street art that brings communities together, or a short film that narrates the journey of peace through artistic expression—let your creativity guide you.
This open call is not just a contest, but a celebration of art's potential to heal, unite, and inspire a more peaceful world. We look forward to your submissions!

COMPETITION THEME:

​

We invite filmmakers, artists, storytellers, and others from around the globe to participate in a unique video competition that explores the theme: "Show how Art, as a universal language, inspires peace by bridging cultural, political, and other divides."

 

OBJECTIVE:

 

Create a video that captures the power of art in its many forms to transcend boundaries, connect diverse communities, and promote understanding, empathy, and peace. This is an opportunity to showcase how art—whether through performance, visual expression, or other creative mediums—acts as a bridge between cultures, ideologies, and individuals. 

 

ELIGIBLE ART FORMS:

Your video submission can explore any of the following art forms:

 

  • Visual Arts: Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Collage, Digital Art, Abstract Expressionism, Pop Art, Street Art, Contemporary Art, Minimalism, Installation Art, Land Art, Conceptual Art, Postmodern Art.

 

  • Performance Arts: Dance, Theater, Performance Art, Kinetic Art.

 

  • Literature and Media: Literature, Short Films, Animation.

 

  • Cultural and Architectural Arts: Architecture, Calligraphy, Culinary Arts, Music, Appropriation.

COMPETITION RULES

  • Free entry

  • COMPLETE COMPETITION ENTRY FORM (SEE BELOW)

  • Winning Video Award USD 500

  • Winner determined strictly based on highest number of likes registered for the submitted video on TAA’s YouTube Channel.

  • Participants must subscribe to TAA YouTube channel and TAA Instagram @theartassoc

  • Entry limited to submissions falling within the competition theme, determined at the sole discretion of the TAA Executive Committee.

GUIDELINES
TAA International Video Anthology 2025

  • High-quality (1080p or more), inspiring and uplifting video, limited to maximum 15 Minutes

  • Video Content inspired by competition theme.

  • Your video should focus on how art can be a universal language that bridges divides. It can be a documentary, a narrative piece, an abstract visual, or any other creative interpretation that aligns with the theme.

  • Provide video link on TAA Video Competition Form

  • All non-English language videos must have English subtitles.​
